Spirit
Reach out your hand and receive Christ. It's really that simple. All we have to do is reach out our hand and there God is.
Living can be difficult, especially living in the real world of challenges and injustice. But with a little support, like the love of the community around us and the words of the Bible and the constant presence of Christ before us and within us, life can be much more simple, in fact it can appear to have true purpose.
Christians are, to use a common phrase, "purpose driven," and inside of each of us the seeds of vision and grace are sown by a God who loves us more than we can know or imagine. Our spiritual journey is a process of helping the good within us develop, fostering it and bringing it to the surface and then sharing it with the world in need.
Attending church and being part of a community makes it easier to find our spirituality. Church makes it easier to just reach out your hand and receive. We don't have to make it all up, especially when we have longstanding traditions and a little organization, the sacraments, and the stories which have been told again and again. It is all here waiting for you, for you to reach out your hand and receive.
